Early psychosis services focus on providing service to young people between 16-25 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The aim is to provide earlier and more intensive treatment as well as minimising disability associated with psychosis, including the impact of distress/trauma on both the young person and their family. This service is a sub-specialty program within the specialist clinical adult area mental health service.

Services are for children and adolescents up to the age of 18 years who have serious emotional disturbance. Services include: - Assessment and referral to: acute inpatient; residential and non-residential rehabilitation; and other generic health services - Case management - Crisis assessment and treatment - Mobile intensive support  - Clinical interventions and treatments.  - Mental health education to carer and community groups - Mental health promotion
