Immunisation clinics are run by Marion Council at Westfield Marion and the Hallett Cove Library for children up to 7 years of age. The Council also supports immunisation services offered by local Medical Practitioners. Council runs special catch up immunisation clinics for school students and adolescents who have missed vaccinations at school.

The provision of immunisation services, in accordance with the Australian Standard Vaccination Schedule, is an important public health service provided by the City of Holdfast Bay. Day and evening immunisation clinics for the general public are provided by Council. A comprehensive school immunisation program is also provided to secondary schools within the Council area.
