Anglican Counselling Service - Tamworth

HealthWISE New England North West provides a variety of free mental health services across the region to eligible clients funded by HNECC PHN. Including, Women experiencing perinatal depression, people identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander experiencing depression and anxiety, people at moderate risk of suicide or self-harm and children aged 0-13 with a focus on 8 to 12-years-old depression and/or anxiety. Referral into most of these programs is by way of GP referral.

Our services are designed to help individuals improve their mental and emotional well-being through tailored support from qualified and experienced practitioners. Our interdisciplinary team provides therapies such as behaviour support, individual counselling and therapy, assessments, and more.

The Carers support group meet every third Wednesday of the month The New England Carer's Support Service offers counselling, support information and advocacy along with a monthly newsletter and support group meeting.
