Canberra Health Services’ Walk-in Centres provide free health care for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses to anyone who is over 2 years of age. The centres are open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day between 7.30am and 10pm. You don’t need to make an appointment, as the name says, just walk on in. Walk-In Centre - Gungahlin

Walk-in Centres help people get free, one-off treatment for minor injuries and illnesses. You can see an experienced Registered Nurse for advice, assessment and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries such as cuts and bruises, minor infections, strains, sprains, skin complaints and coughs and colds. If necessary, you'll be redirected to the most appropriate healthcare professional.

The centres are open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day between 7:30am and 10pm.  You don’t need to make an appointment, just come on in.
We are staffed by Nurse Practitioners and Advance Practice Nurses. If your health needs are more than we can provide, we will direct or support you to the right care .

Walk-In Centre - Tuggeranong

After Hours Clinic is a service provided by Marathon Health with the aim to provide medical care to patients whom have urgent, non-emergency medical conditions and are unable to wait and see the regular GP during surgery hours. It is staffed by a local GP, a Registered Nurse and a receptionist. 

The clinic is not intended to replace the routine care provided by your local GP or substitute medical care in an emergency situation. In emergencies, please call triple zero.

The Walk-in Specialist Emergency Clinic is a stand-alone facility offering immediate medical attention when an accident or emergency requires more than a GP visit, but is considered non-life threatening.

WiSE Specialist Emergency Clinic

This clinic is open 24 hours and 7 days a week. There is a doctor and nurse on-duty at all times, however, after-hours there is no Radiology, Pathology or Physiotherapy service; These services are generally available 8AM to 5PM. Please call clinic to check prior to arrival.
Patients that are acutely unwell and/or requiring further specialist care will be referred to the Emergency Department. No appointments required, and it is a free service for Medicare eligible patients.
