Canberra Health Services offers a Women, Youth and Children Community Nutrition service which provides free nutrition advice for children, young people, pregnant women and women in the first two years after birth. Please see our website for more information

Women, Youth and Children Community Nutrition service - Belconnen

Eligible clients can access clinic based nutrition assessments, counselling and advice. Group education programs are also available, including Coping with Fussy Eaters, a group available to parents of children aged 1-5 years with fussy eating habits. 

The nutrition service also offers health education, health promotion, nutrition consultancy and nutrition education resources for ACT residents. To be eligible clients must be:
-	Infants;
-	Children; 
-	Young people aged under 25yrs;
-	Pregnant women, or
-	Breastfeeding women.

Community Nutrition Service for Children, Youth & Families

Focus Dietetics provides nutrition and dietitian services for people with a disability through their NDIS plans, Medicare, Department of Veteran Affairs, or private health.

Focus Dietetics

Services include: Healthy weight management with long term healthy eating habits, Managing type 1 or type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes, Managing cardiovascular disease or patients with metabolic syndrome, Lowering blood pressure or cholesterol, Managing emotional eating, Managing gastrointestinal discomfort (bloating, pain and irregular bowel movements), Dietary management of Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
