The Nutrition Department can provide expertise and guidance on issues relating to food and its role in health.  This may include assistance in the selection and preparation of appropriate foods, in achieving healthy attitudes to food, and in the management of certain conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, weight issues, eating disorders, gastrointestinal disease and allergies.  Medical referral is preferred in these cases.

Albury Wodonga Health - Wodonga Campus - Rehabilitation, Community & Allied Health Centre

Appointments can be made to see our Dietitian who is available to assist in the dietary management of health conditions such as high cholesterol, Diabetes, weight issues, food allergies and intolerances, nutritional concerns and gastrointestinal disorders.

Tallangatta Health Service

The dietetic service provides nutrition, information and advice for those with diabetes, wound issues, weight gain or loss, eating disorders, meal planning and general wellbeing. The dietetic service also coordinates the Start Right Eat Right program locally.

Beechworth Health Service

This is a one day a week service. The Dietitian provides one-on-one consultations as well as group education to people who need help to understand the relationship between food and health, increase knowledge about nutrition,&/or make dietary choices to improve health and get the most out of their lifestyle.
