This interactive training, delivered in the form of a workshop, is the ideal platform for new and experienced Case Managers and HR Professionals to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to more effectively engage with GPs and medical specialists and achieve return to work outcomes.
This service allows managers to work with one of our experienced consultants and workshop their concerns and develop clear, realistic and practical strategies to deal with people management challenges.

One of our experienced Dragon Naturally Speaking trainers will teach you how to create a user profile, customise your vocabulary, and learn basic commands to compose emails, draft and edit documents, and control your computer by voice.

A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is an objective measure of an individuals capacity to perform work-specific functional tasks. An FCE enables assessment of readiness to return to work, proposals of strategies to assist with graduating return to work, evaluate.

Cogmed Working Memory Training is an evidence based program that assists individuals to sustainably improve attention and concentration by training their working memory. This service includes regular face-to- face sessions with a Certified Cogmed coach to provide strategies and monitor progress, and is particularly helpful to assist injured workers with cognitive deficits as a result of psychological injury in preparing for a return to work

This is an interactive workshop that can be tailored to suit the specific outcomes being sought by the manager of the team. Some key outcomes that may be identified are: identifying strategies for
functioning cohesively and productively as a team; strategies for giving and receiving feedback, strategies to improve current work practices/ efficiencies/ relationships; identifying agreed team
behaviours. To assist the team to identify strategies to function cohesively and productively.

Abilita is a structured program used to address the biopsychosocial aspects of injury and illness.

We utilise the Abilita screening tool as a standard component of our initial assessments and administer the coaching program when indicated to address specific barriers to recovery from injury and return to work. The Abilita program includes standardised outcome reporting which allows us to demonstrate the effectiveness of this intervention.

This training is suitable for anyone who would benefit from becoming competent in basic workstation set up for themselves and others. Following completion of this course participants are able to assess and make appropriate ergonomic recommendations for new starters or those who change workstations within their workplace. They will also be able to make recommendations and adjustments to assist with common workplace injuries and identify when a specialist assessment is required.

The Rehabilitation Specialists provide Vehicle Ergonomic Assessments as either a preventative measure or to address a specific concern that has been raised e.g. an injury, area of discomfort, prolonged periods of sitting, or difficulty transferring into and our of a vehicle.

A comprehensive Initial Needs Assessment is completed by a qualified and experienced Rehabilitation Consultant and will: - Establish a client's work and medical status - Identify barriers and facilitators impacting a return to work - Analyse available suitable duties - Identify a return to work goal - Provide recommendations to address barriers and achieve the return to work goal The initial needs assessment can also be completed alongside any of our other assessment services and includes a detailed report tailored to the individuals' case.
