As part of West Wimmera Health Service - Murtoa Community Health Centre provides a wide range of medical, community health and support services.  A facility fee is charged for some services and payable on use of the service.  Consideration is given to pensioners and health care cardholders. RSL LifeCare At Home - Riverina

RSL LifeCare at Home provides in home care and support services to all senior Australians. Our team comprises of fully qualified professional carers and Registered Nurses providing a vast array of services from domestic assistance to specialised nursing and respite care. The Home Based Palliative Care Team provides supportive nursing service to people and their carers who are no longer responding to curative treatment, aiming to enable people to be care for in the home as long as they wish, to provide regular and skilled nursing care at home, relieve distressing symptoms as much as possible and provide bereavement support to the family. To be assessed for admission to the home based palliative care service, a referral written by a health professional is required. Health professionals may include your G.P,  your community nurse or your treating medical or nursing team in a hospital. Referral forms are available on the website above. Home based palliative care does not provide services in New South Wales.

Central Grampians Palliative Care is a free community based palliative care service offering health care and emotional support to people and their carers living with a life-limiting illness. Our focus is to offer a service that will enhance a person's dignity and independence.

The service also has access to a Regional Palliative Care Team and specialist palliative care physicians.

We offer emotional support for grief and loss issues, and referral for therapeutic counseling can be arranged if need be.

We loan equipment to enable easier home nursing care.
