Centacare Catholic Family Services

The program enables people to stay connected to their local communities though participation in social activities. 
This program is a HACC funded program that provides assistance within a range of services such as:

• friendly home visiting
• phone support
• social outings
• shopping assistance
• accompanying clients to appointments
• helping clients/carers to find support groups
• helping with referrals to other services if needed

It is available to those who are elderly, over 65 years of age, who are either living alone or have a lack of family support to maintain their independence, and/or people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

The Social Support Program is also available for younger people under 65 with permanent or likely to be permanent specialist disabilities.

Social services - including counselling, information and referral, home visiting and support, orientation for new arrivals, day activities for older people. Association Of Ukrainians In SA Inc

The Centre is a non for profit fully incorporated organisation administered  by a  volunteer Management Committee. A number of clubs and groups use Western Youth Centre Inc on a permanent basis including social club, gymnastics, soccer, cricket, judo, kindergym, social table tennis and more.
