Grampians Health Edenhope

Naracoorte Health Service is part of the South East Health Services. Our facility includes 39 public beds, six day surgery beds, two operating theatres, same day and overnight stay, specialist consulting rooms, youth health, plus a residential aged care unit in Moreton Bay House that accommodates 11 State-funded aged care beds and 30 Commonwealth aged care beds.

The Penola War Memorial Hospital is part of the Lower South East Health Services offering a 24-hour accident and emergency service, six beds for medical, post surgical, convalescent, rehabilitation, palliative care and Transitional Care Packages. The hospital also manages the Penola Medical Clinic, community nursing and in-home support programs. Services for outpatients include medical, nursing and allied health services. -Eligibility: No referral required for emergency services. Acute inpatients and allied health services usually require a doctors referral.

West Wimmera Health Service - Kaniva Campus

The Preadmission clinic is the beginning of the discharge process when requirements for community services or special aids for patients returning home, are discussed and arranged.

The Admissions and Discharge Coordinator liaises with other departments and community services and develops a coordinated plan for the patient's stay in hospital and their return home.
