Social Work services operate from a multidisciplinary perspective to ensure that patients and families needs are met in a person centred manner. This ensures that the focus is not only on the disease but rather the person as a whole. Social Work services are able to provide the family with emotional as well as practical support. The Social Work team has established links with other Echuca Regional Health departments, including oncology, palliative care and the Transition Care Program.

YALUKANG AGED CARE - respite and permanent services, 60 individual rooms with ensuites, specialist Memory Support Unit. We promote the highest physical and mental function to optimise quality of life. Facilities are staffed 24/7. 

Rochester And Elmore District Health Service

This service provides counselling for:
depression, grief & loss, stress, anxiety, anger management, relationships, self-esteem, decision making and problem solving, life crisis management and coping with difficult life stages such as, the birth of a child, unemployment, chronic illness, seperation, retirement and disability.

Kyabram District Health Service

Rushworth Service Hours: Wednesdays (Fortnightly) 10.00am onwards

Service includes assessment, referral and counselling.

Goulburn Valley Health - Waranga Campus

Social Work service aims to provide a comprehensive counselling and crisis intervention service to individuals/ families to enable them to deal with the impact of changes in health status on individual and family functioning.

Referral Process:
Referrals are accepted from individual self referral, medical, nursing or allied health staff.

Goulburn Valley Health - Shepparton Campus

The Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS) specifically caters for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, medical/surgical intervention, or functional impairment, will benefit from a program of developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focused interdisciplinary rehabilitation.

Patients attend Goulburn Valley Health where telehealth clinic is held with rehabilitation physicians based at RCH.
