Walk-in Centres help people get free, one-off treatment for minor injuries and illnesses. You can see an experienced Registered Nurse for advice, assessment and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries such as cuts and bruises, minor infections, strains, sprains, skin complaints and coughs and colds. If necessary, you'll be redirected to the most appropriate healthcare professional. 

Walk-In Centre - Belconnen

Canberra Health Services’ Walk-in Centres provide free health care for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses to anyone who is over 2 years of age. The centres are open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day between 7.30am and 10pm. You don’t need to make an appointment, as the name says, just walk on in. Canberra Health Services' Walk in Centres provide free one-off treatment for non-life threatening injuries and illness to anyone who is over one year of age. The centres are open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day between 7:30am and 10pm.  You don’t need to make an appointment, just come on in.
We are staffed by Nurse Practitioners and Advance Practice Nurses. If your health needs are more than we can provide, we will direct or support you to the right care .
