These information sessions have regular guest speakers, covering all aspects of diabetes and its management. The group provides a forum for self-help and social support in self managing your diabetes. 
Meetings are held at Castlemaine District Community Health, on the first Thursday of every month, between 10 -11am.

Helping with mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, grief and loss and diagnosed mental illnesses. Support group members can share their problems, learn how to re-build their lives and report on their own progress. The program focuses on changing negative thinking and behaviour, and develop understanding, acceptance, and confidence.

Ballarat Support Group - GROW Mental Wellbeing Program

Services provided:
-- Assistance is provided to HACC funded service providers to develop Cultural Action Plans
-- Provide cultural awareness training to HACC funded services
-- A monthly 'Multicultural Tucker' meal is provided for HACC clients from culturally and linguistically diverse background who are older, frail, socially isolated, financially disadvantaged or with a disability and their carers.  Cost: Donation $5.00
