We assist children and young people, people living with a disability, people living with a mental health issue and other vulnerable persons to live safer and more enriched lives. Our philosophy is simple: When developing our programs we listen to, learn from, and consult our clients, their families and their respective communities. Our services support and encourage our clients in participating in their community and aspiring to reach their personal goals.

Mackillop Family Services

MacKillop Family Services exists to support, to foster hope and to promote justice for children, young people and their families, particularly those who experience distress, disadvantage and abuse. 

The programs we deliver include foster care and residential care, disability services, youth support, education and training, family support, refugee services and support to women and men who, as children, were in the care of our founding agencies.

Advocacy and support providing opportunities for children in care to connect with each other. Activities, programs, training and advice improving the care system. 

Programs including clubCREATE which is about belonging, feeling connected, reducing social isolation, making friends and having fun. Members receive a welcome pack, quarterly newsletters, invitations to events, and a birthday card each year. See website link for further information

CREATE does not provide care. We are a sector advocacy group, and work with and support young people in care to enable their voices to be heard. No referral is necessary - contact your local CREATE office to find out more about CREATE programs and services.

For children and young people with a care experince aged 0-25  Services including connection events, empowerment programs, training & systemic advocacy .

Vista Community Support - Carnegie

Services including community-based support such as attendant care, day programs, recreational and leisure alternatives and flexible respite for people with disabilities

MacKillop Family Services - North & West (Victoria St, Footscray)

A leading provider of services for children, young people and their families in North West metropolitan Melbourne.

Anglicare Victoria - Preston

Services including: Youth Services (Drug and Alcohol, Youth Transitional Housing Support, Lead Tenant, Young Women's Refuge); Home Based Care (foster care for children and adolescents); Family Services (Family Support); Residential Care (Adolescents)

Provides accommodation and support for children and young people in need of out of home care. Appoinment required for after hour services. Additional Info: With a telephone answering machine available when the office is unattended.

Berry Street - North West Region

Services including family support,counselling & family therapy, Family Violence Outreach and Support Services, Children's Support Program, Financial Counselling, Youth Services (Lead Tenant, Adolescent Support, Support & Housing program, Disability, Education), Out of Home Care (Residential Care Services and Home Based Care), Publicity & Recruitment for Foster Carers

Services include Community Connections Program, Homeless Outreach Program, Intensive Case Management Initiative, Reclink, RDNS Homeless Persons Program, Chaplaincy

SalvoCare Eastern Youth and Adult Home care Services

This site contains the administration headquarters and a range of programs for young people under the care of The Department of Human Services.
