Many MSI day surgeries are eligible for private health claiming. Our patients receive free access to support services, including pre-care assessment, counselling, free aftercare, and interpreters, ensuring you get the best standard of care before, during and after your appointment with us.

MSI Canberra Abortion & Contraception Clinic

Provides unbiased and non-directive pregnancy options counselling to women with unplanned pregnancy, including where relevant and acceptable to her, to her partner and/or family.  This service may also be provided to partners and/or family who may require information and support, provided access by this group does not compromise access by women with unplanned pregnancies.  

Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT)

Focus on young people who are homeless or are at risk of. 

Services include: GPs, nurses, antenatal care, smoking cessation support, case management, youth work support in addition to outreach to schools, information, education, and advocacy on health issues affecting young people in the Canberra region.

Please note that patients must be eligible for a Medicare card in order to access this service. Special consideration to non-Medicare patients will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
