Early sessions will focus on identifying patterns in the relationship, together with associated feelings, and possibly historical factors contributing to those feelings. Strengths in the relationship will also be identified, and as therapy continues, ways of establishing patterns that better promote the relationship will be explored. Ways of maintaining these new patterns and promoting relationship growth with then be established.
