Redlands Hearing Impaired Support Group

10 week ante-natal course for young women up to 24yrs run in partnership with the Early Years Support clinic at Child and Youth Community Health Service. Includes information presented in a fun, relaxed and informal environment on important topics such as:
- labour and childbirth
- health and well-being during pregnancy and after baby comes
- settling and feeding your baby
- child development and child health
- bonding with your baby.
We make great things for your baby too like tye-dye baby singlets, photo frames and a labour survival kit!

It is a great way to meet future playmates for your baby. 

After you have your baby you are welcome to come to the young mums playgroup held on Tuesday from 9.30am.

Young Parents Connect - Redlands Centre for Women Inc.

Young Parents Connect is a group for first time
young mums aged 15 – 24 where you get linked
up with another young mum as a mentor. Young
Parents Connect also offers postnatal support at
a weekly mother’s group. Young Parents Connect
is an initiative of the Redlands Centre for Women.
Young Parents Connect meets
during the school term on
Friday mornings from 9am to
11am. We have a Child Health
Nurse visit fortnightly to weigh
the babies and answer any
questions you may have. From
time to time we have guest speakers join the
group to inform us on topics you choose e.g. baby
massage, sleep settling, physio exercises, healthy
relationships and nutrition.

and fun. Our goal is to
provide support to young
pregnant women and
mothers in a fun and
positive environment. We are here to offer
information but we are also here to provide a
shoulder and will be available to answer your
questions.
You never know, you might just make some
lasting friendships which can continue to
blossom as your children grow up together.

This service provides meetings for sole parents as well as weekend activities.

The Survivors Of Suicide Bereavement Support Association

Amputees & Family Support Group Inc is a non-profit, self-help, community organisation dealing with amputation and the resultant health care issues arising. The aim of the organisation is to increase the effective management of amputation by offering mutual support and encouragement to individuals and their families through the various grief and loss stages they encounter following loss of limb, and to assist them to accept and integrate this traumatic change into their personal, domestic, vocational, cultural and recreational environments. Services offered include hospital and home visitation, advocacy, a quarterly newsletter, individual and family support and socialisation, social outings, information on technical aids and equipment and liaison with like support groups and with professionals both in Government and non-Government organisations.
