The Dietetic Service provides individual and group education for adults and children. All requests and referrals for information and consultation should be directed to the Referral and Appointment Service.

Community Education, Health Promotion and Health screenings are offered through community groups, schools and the media. Focus is given to Government Health Promotion weeks and expressed community need.

All age groups are catered for and key areas of work include clients with diabetes and heart disease, weight management, gastrointestinal disorders, appetite awareness and body image, and general healthy eating.
A child and adolescent weight management clinic called 'Ready Steady Go' is available at Melton Health (see Paediatric Program).

Caroline Springs Community Health Centre

Djerriwarrh Health Services provides a wide range of acute, residential and primary care services to people in Melton and Moorabool Shires.

Community health services available at Caroline Springs include podiatry, dietetics, diabetes education, physiotherapy, speech pathology, financial counselling.

This service is available by appointment on the available days.
