Addictive Eaters Anonymous (AEA) is a worldwide Twelve Step fellowship based on Alcoholics Anonymous.
AEA members have found recovery from binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, other forms of addictive eating and compulsive exercise. Working the Twelve Steps of AEA, members find peace of mind & the ability to live a meaningful & productive life.
 
AEA meetings are open to anyone and there is no cost to attend.

CatholicCare - Sutherland

A group program offering a supportive environment for people to achieve behaviour change goals of their choice around alcohol & other drug use, or any behaviours of concern. Guided by trained peers & professionals, participants come to help themselves & help each other using a variety of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) & motivational tools & techniques. Free and run weekly for up to 90mins. Each meeting is guided by a trained facilitator.

SMART Recovery meeting

Support groups include carer social group; dementia and younger onset dementia carer groups; Resilient Carer groups; former carer support group; older male carers;  Greek, Chinese and Spanish CALD carer groups.

Sutherland Shire Carer Support Service Inc

Services provided to children, adolescents, adults, aged care, couples and families. 

Referrals are via Mental Health Care Plans, self referral, Workcover, Accredited Victims Services Counselling and from other sources.
