Surgical and medical retina subspecialist expertise, Dr Barry has a keen interest in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, macular holes, epiretinal membranes and retinal detachments. Dr Barry also performs cataract surgery, and has extensive experience in managing the most difficult cases that involve vitreoretinal intervention. Dr Barry understands the importance of providing a comprehensive service and thus maintains an interest in the management of common oculoplastics disease, glaucoma and other general ophthalmic conditions.

All patients must first see a GP, Optometrist or hospital Emergency Department, and then be referred into the Canberra Hospital Eye Clinic to recieve an appointment. Urgent appointments are provided to patients who are referred with conditions that may risk a loss of vision.
