One of the most common misconceptions about dieting is that you just have to eat less and move more. Unfortunately, if it was that simple we would not be facing an obesity epidemic. You also have to change the way you think.

The program is made up of 3 phases. 

Phase 1: Identifying your personal diet traps

During this phase we help you to identify those personal stumbling blocks that hold you back. Are you an emotional eater? Is it hard to say 'no' in social or family situations? Do you travel a lot for work; or are weekends and holidays your personal pitfall? Are you self-critical or an 'all or nothing' thinker?

We focus on your reasons for being overweight, for emotional eating, and not caring for yourself or making yourself a priority in your life. We need to look at all the aspects of weight loss - diet and exercise, as well as the emotional issues, fears, beliefs and a life script that might be getting in the way of releasing this weight. During this phase we also help to ease you into a program of healthier eating patterns and increased physical activity.

Phase 2: Overcoming barriers

This is the increased weight loss phase and we introduce tools to help you recognise the difference between the physical feeling of being hungry, rather than emotional hunger. We continue to work on you cognitively and subconsciously to help you create healthier choices, more joy in your life, self-love and inner connection to accomplish your goals. We give you strategies to overcome the typical stress traps - life is too busy to make time to prepare healthy meals; using food to relax after a hectic day; or having overly restrictive rules about food.

Phase 3: Tools for success

We equip you with the cognitive strategies to change your mindset; psychological strategies that help you deal with emotional eating and stress; behavioural strategies that encourage the formation of new healthy eating and exercise habits; and problem solving strategies that give you the tools to conquer the daily diet challenges that everyday life throws at you.

ADHD: The program is designed to build on the strengths of the child or adult that has been diagnosed. Our principle is that ADD/ADHD is not a disorder but a difference, and that those with people with ADD/ADHD simply have brains that functions differently. Unfortunately they have to operate in a society that is not geared towards them and often don't understand them.

Through a holistic approach we help you or your child build an individual road map that works to suit your needs.  This includes looking at lifestyle, diet, exercise and natural supplements and offer tools and tips to help make everyday life easier.
