The Speech Pathology Department at Cairns Base Hospital provides services to people in hospital and to some outpatients. This includes assessment and treatment of adults and children with swallowing, speech, language and voice difficulties. Outpatient clinics include dysphagia, oncology, voice, paediatrics and rehabilitation.

Provides support with physical disability, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, neurological illness or condition, or a fracture or muscle tear.
