The SW Older Adult Mental Health Service provides a dedicated community psychiatric service for the older population of South West WA by working closely with the SW Regional Aged Care Service, existing Mental Health Adult Services, regionals hospitals, community care providers and GP's. 

We consider all clients over the age of 65 (55 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) who present with: 

 Moderate/Severe mental health symptoms including suicidal behaviours
•Associated/degenerative disorders and challenging behaviours
•Clients requiring assessment who present with complex mental health issues.
