Wentworth Health Service is a small rural hospital and health service that provides limited first line emergency services and nursing home type services. Our hospital provides accident and emergency, medical, day and inpatient surgical, obstetrics and high dependency care. The Riverland Private Hospital, a 12 bed facility, is also collocated with the Riverland General Hospital.

Riverland General Hospital

The Barmera Hospital is a 20 bed facility for people receiving acute medical treatment, 81 residential care places and 62 independent living units on site and part of the Riverland Health Services. Maternity Service at Berri Campus. Riverland Community Health Services provide therapeutic nursing and allied health professional services, specialised assessment, in home support services, health promotion and advice on health issues.

Barmera Health Service

The Waikerie health service has 30 acute care beds and 42 Multipurpose residential places for people requiring high levels of care. We offer acute services including accident and emergency, medical services, day and inpatient surgical and obstetrics. We also have visiting specialist medical staff who provide urology, gynaecology, orthopaedic surgery and general surgery. We can also provide domiciliary care.
