The occupational therapy service assists the frail, aged and people with disabilities – including age related conditions – to maintain maximum independence and involvement in everyday activities and to remain in their homes safely. The occupational therapists provide assessment and recommendations within programs at Carrington Health and within peoples' home environments to assist in making daily living easier.
Services available include:
Provide information on ways of doing activities in easier and safer way
Provide information on equipment and modifications within the home to enable safety and independence
Assist in accessing services and funding sources for equipment and home modifications
Children's Occupational Therapy is also available for children aged between 0-10 and their families.
