WLC Medical provides customised weight management programs for people above or below a healthy weight range, suited to your individual health concerns.

You can also see any clinician for any reason unrelated to weight management, e.g. Physio for a sore lower back, Dietitian for a meal plan or Psychologist for mental health concerns.

The Quadriplegic Centre is a rehabilitative and care facility for people with quadriplegia and paraplegia. Built in 1969 as an integral part of the Western Australian health system, the Quadriplegic Centre focuses on providing specialist services to the most severe population who present with high spinal cord injuries, requiring multidisciplinary team input.

Injuries at this level have a devastating impact on the individual and their family. At the most severe end of this scale, the person will require one-to-one care, with mechanical ventilation 24 hours a day and will be unable to do any self-care.

All levels of injury severely impact on the capacity of the individual to function without a considerable amount of care. Community funding to meet the quadriplegic's care needs is either unavailable or insufficient to provide adequate care. In cases where multiple, concurrent sequelae or complications exist, specialist medical and nursing input is required over a long and complex rehabilitation and extended care is inevitable.

•	JHC has both private and public rehabilitation beds on the campus. Operating under a multidisciplinary team approach, doctors, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and social work all have major input into the treatment and ongoing management of patients.

Joondalup Health Campus

Peel Health Campus offers both private and public rehabilitation and acute medical aged care beds on the Campus. The service includes a multidisciplinary team-based approach, including specialist medical, nursing and allied health professionals.
The physiotherapy department provides individually tailored, patient-centred strength, balance and general fitness programs to promote independence, endurance, and well-being in the older population.
In conjunction with the consultant geriatrician, a memory clinic has been established. This service provides diagnostic assessment for people with memory loss, and assists the patient and their family to understand these processes, and where possible to put strategies in place to reverse or slow the process
