Belconnen Community Health Centre

The Centre provides a comprehensive range of hepatitis-related information, resources, prevention education, health promotion, treatment support, advocacy and referral services. A secondary Needle and Syringe Program (NSP) outlet provides office-hours access to injecting equipment and a secure disposal service.

Hepatitis ACT

Voluntary, non profit organisation formed to further the mutual interests and welfare of its members (colostomates, ileostomates and urostomates). Provides the following services to its members:  -The provision of relevant pharmaceutical products available within the inventory of the Stoma Appliance Scheme;  - Contact between members to provide support

ACT and Districts Stoma Association

This service is for the parents of young children, young adults (18 months to 25 years of age) and community groups.

Asthma Nurse Educator Service

Our cancer education programs are free and provide information and support to people diagnosed with cancer and their families and friends. They cover a range of topics including cancer and its treatments, living with cancer, survival skills and how to cope with a cancer diagnosis. Cancer Council ACT

Canberra Fertility Centre

Offers information, referrals, resources and advocacy to deaf and hearing impaired communities.  Offers assistive listening device products for sale; such as adapted telephones, personal FM systems, smoke alarm clocks and other hearing devices.

ACT Deafness Resource Centre

The Disease Surveillance Unit is responsible for the coordination of the ACT Communicable Diseases Surveillance Program. The overall aim of the program is to reduce the incidence of infectious diseases in the ACT community by implementing disease control measures.
The main roles of the Disease Surveillance Unit include:
-	Management of the ACT Notifiable Disease Surveillance Program;
-	Collection and recording of disease notifications, including the analysis of data and monitoring of disease trends;
-	The follow-up and investigation of cases of notifiable diseases (in line with local and national guidelines) and the implementation of disease control measures to prevent the spread of these diseases in the community;
-	Investigation and management of disease outbreaks and
-	Informing and developing disease prevention and control strategies.
