Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, we have a 24 hour emergency phone line.

Doris Women's Refuge

HomeBase provides early intervention support to families who are at risk of losing their accommodation.  Its aim is to prevent families from becoming homeless.  Assistance is provided to families to stabilise their housing whether this is private rental, public housing or their own homes (mortgages) and financial circumstances. 

Families also have direct access to a Centrelink Social Worker, a member of the HomeBase Team.  This ensures that immediate assistance is available to ensure that correct entitlements are being received and that any other issues in relation to payments and/or debts, for example, are addressed.

Services include: Belconnen Community Services Inc (BCS) is a not-for-profit community organisation providing high quality integrated and inclusive service to families, children, and young people in the Belconnen region.  We support the community through our transport services, mental health services, counselling, accomodation assistance, social groups, case management and various leisure/fitness programs.
