Provides specialist counselling and casework services to children and young people up to 18 years old and their families. Services include counselling and therapy, group work, support for carers, support and advocacy for children and families, education for health staff, community education, court preparation and support, and referral to other services. Referrals to Child Protection Services can only be made by Family and Community Services or Joint Investigation Response Team (JIRT).

Bathurst Health Service Child Protection Service

Social work services are available for a range of personal and family problems. Counselling may deal with stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, postnatal depression, loss & grief, relationship difficulties, sexuality and domestic violence. Counselling and support are also available for carers.
This is an inpatient service.  Outpatient services are available through the Community Health Centre.
No appointments necessary.
Staff and Self-referrals accepted.

Services are available to adults experiencing a range of personal and family problems. Counselling my deal with stress, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family breakdown and domestic violence. Counselling and support also available for carers. Counselling sessions are determined on a needs basis and is not limited to a certain number of sessions. Self referrals and referrals from other service providers are accepted. Appointments required.
