The Social Worker works with the District Nurse team and visits clients in their own homes. The service offers counselling, support, information and advocacy. The Social Worker may also refer to other health professionals.

Rhea Doyle has joined Macedon Ranges Health's Social Work Program. Rhea has over a decade of experience in working with children, adolescents and families and is passionate about community health and wellbeing.

Rhea is available to see children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties; families raising a child who is fostered, permanently placed or adopted; new parents facing challenges in adjusting to their new role as a parent and can support families impacted by family violence.

Rhea works on Tuesday and Thursday. Appointments can be made by calling MRH on (03) 5428 0300 and are free of charge.

This service offers confidential advice and education to Western Health patients, their family members and/or carers across all three Western Health hospitals. Social workers provide assistance in relation to issues of emotional adjustment to health conditions and/or the hospitalisation experience.
