Parenting groups focus on topics such as behaviour management, child development, self-esteem, learnings from family of origin, nutrition, healthy living, communication, time-out strategies and parent self care.  The focus at all times is on the development of better parenting styles, skills and strategies that will translate into safer and healthier families.

Undertakes special projects in areas of identified need and provides a separate support group for women with disabilities. The group provides friendship, fun and information for the participants and is open to any women with any type of disability. Information sessions are held on health topics of interest to women with disabilities and leisure outings to venues throughout Melbourne take place every fortnight on a Friday.
