Fight Cancer Foundation

A state-wide peak body representing unpaid carers across Victoria.​ We advocate on behalf of unpaid carers in Victoria to ensure carer needs are recognised, carer contribution is understood, and carers are connected to financial and social assistance. We provide a wide range of assistance to carers, including provision of government funded respite and support, education and training, delivery of events and other activities, and ongoing information tailored to their needs and interests.

Sacred Heart Mission - Grey Street

Offers planned respite to carers and people of any age with a psychiatric disability in the Southern Metropolitan region, which includes the inner south, middle south, Greater Dandenong and Peninsula-Hastings regions.  

Respite programs are offered to the person with the psychiatric disability while the carer takes a break.  Programs include group holidays, individual and small group respite, and recreational day activities.

Mind Australia - Peer Recovery Community Albert Park

Positive Women Victoria provides peer support, information, advocacy and service referrals for women living with HIV. For over 30 years, we have responded to the changing needs of women living with HIV. We recognise the impact gender has on the way women, femmes, cis women, and trans women experience HIV and we aim to address their specific needs. Peer support is provided by phone, one-on-one meetings, and group events such as regular lunches. Visits to our office are by appointment only.
