Access criteria: 
Anyone experiencing difficulty with alcohol or other drug use, or an immediate family. 

Our priority group are those who do not already have a General Practitioner (GP) 
- Wants continuing care through the clinic 
- Emergency or brief intervention. 

A health assessment by the practice nurse is undertaken first to triage each new client prior to booking their GP appointment.

CALMS at Canberra Hospital is located in the Pre Admission Clinic, Building 12, Enter through the Emergency Department entrance, go through the ED waiting area into the corridor and then follow the signs to 'CALMS After Hours Doctor'.

Fees apply for all services and consultations are by appointment only. Appointments are taken from 6:00pm weekdays, and from 7:30am weekends and public holidays. Please see the website link for a map of surgery locations.

Canberra After Hours Locum Medical Services (CALMS) Southside

General health issues, immunisations, pregnancy & INR testing & check-ups. 

All consultations require an appointment and fees apply.

- After Hours: Our practice offers Telehealth consultations after hours—weekdays from 6pm to 11pm, weekends and public holidays from 9am – 11pm, and overnight every night from 11pm to 8am, 7 days a week. Services available include: immunisation, diabetes, checks, chronic disease management, work-related health assessment, baby checks and ante-natal care.
We also provide pap smears, ECG and other services; fees apply for this service.
