Roxby Downs Health Services is part of Port Augusta and Regional Health Services Inc. It is situated approximately 200 Kms north of Port Augusta. There is an accident and emergency service and general medical services as well as regular visits by a range of providers of health services.

Coober Pedy Hospital is a 24-bed facility with 14 acute beds, 10 high level residential aged care beds, six residential aged care beds are allocated to Umoona Aged Care Aboriginal Corporation. Staff from this unit and Mona Aged Care Corporation jointly care for these residents. Coober Pedy hospital staff work in close partnership with community health services and Aboriginal health providers to ensure that optimum care is delivered to all areas of the community.

The Whyalla Hospital is a designated General Hospital which provides emergency services, general medical, midwifery services, surgical services including day surgery, high dependency, children's health unit, palliative care, rehabilitation, renal dialysis and mental health services. Integrated teams provide services in community health, community mental health, domiciliary care, palliative care and allied health (including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology)

We are a 20 bed health unit serving Kimba and the surrounding rural community. There are 12 beds for patients receiving active medical treatment and 8 aged care beds. We also have an 11-bed hostel for older people with a low level of needs for care and 8 independent living units.

The Orroroo Campus is part of the Mid North Health Services providing medical treatment, a 24-hour accident and emergency service and care after operations and births. We have a separate 21 bed aged care hostel which provides care for older people with a lower level of needs.Allied health services include phyiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics, diabetic education, asthma education, acupuncture, remedial massage and Bowen Therapy

Orroroo Hospital

The Booleroo Campus and Booleroo Medical Centre is part of the Mid North Health Services. Our hospital and health centre provides medical, surgical, aged care, accident and emergency, outpatient, x-ray and operating theatre services as well as a wide variety of allied health, primary health care and community health services. The hospital is adjacent to the Booleroo Medical Centre with two resident GP's and visiting health professionals
