Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital

Dr Schaefer is a Queensland-trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specialising in skin cancer excision and reconstruction. He operates on patients from all over Australia, so can conduct your consultation in person or via telehealth. He personally excises over 1500 skin cancers each year, but also works alongside several Brisbane dermatologists to provide reconstruction following Mohs micrographic surgery. He offers surgery for basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas and melanomas.
