For after hours services, contact Lifeline 24-hours a day for the cost of a local call on 131 1 14. The Aboriginal Health Unit works with local Aboriginal Communities to improve their health and well being. We advise, inform and refer to mainstream services. The team provides health screening, diabetes care, counselling, and assists health workers to understand the needs and culture of the Aboriginal Community. After hours, crisis services and transport to appointments is not provided: EntryProcedures Please phone for an appointment. We work closely with Nunyara Wellbeing Centre, which is a support centre for the network of individual agencies committed to meeting community needs through support and opportunities for youth, families and members of the aboriginal community.
