Statewide service. Phone 132 229. The Maternal and Child Health Line provides 24 hour telephone advice and support to families with children birth to school age. Interpreters are available. The service is also available to deaf callers who have access to a telephone typewriter (TTY). The service is staffed by qualified amternal and child health nurses who provide callers with information, support and advice regarding child health, maternal and family health and parenting issues.
