The aim of the Community Nursing Service is to assist the ageing population of the community to remain in their own homes as long as possible by providing a variety of nursing care needs such as :-
-Palliative care
-Wound dressings
-Support for the frail aged and disabled
-Medication education and monitoring
-Early hospital discharge follow up - eg. Surgical clients
-Support monitoring of blood pressure and blood glucose levels
