The Canberra StandBy Response Service is a 24/7 service that responds to families, friends and associates who have been bereaved through suicide. This includes:
- Families, friends, associates, witnesses, schools, workplaces, groups and individuals;
- Emergency and community responders;
- Communities affected by suicide.
StandBy also builds sustainable capacity within communities to respond to and support those bereaved by suicide. This includes:
- Community education;
- Promotion;
- Collaborative activities and community organisations, groups businesses and others.
There is no fee for this service.
