consultatio The Child Health service is part of 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84) and offers parenting advice, support and information to the families of Queensland on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis. It is a specialised service with a focus on supporting and empowering parents and carers of children 0-5 years within a wellness model. Child Health staff have a wealth of experience and expertise, and provide information, advice and reassurance to parents and carers on a broad range of topics. These include, but are not restricted to: Breast and bottle feeding, lactation, growth and development, infant nutrition, transition to solids, sleep and settling techniques, toddler behaviours, immunisation and parenting support.
