Open 24/7. Intake is from 9am - 3pm, Monday to Friday. The Detoxification Unit at the Herbert Street Clinic is an 11 bed, 7 day / 24 hour, inpatient unit at Royal North Shore Hospital. The unit provides medically supervised withdrawal management from alcohol and drugs along with an educational/therapeutic program which includes groups and case management. Provision of comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessment as well as aftercare planning are also a core component of the program.
