GV Health DNS is the largest home nursing (district nursing) service in the Hume Region, providing more than 26,000 home nursing visits to patients within most parts of Greater Shepparton area annually. General and specialist nursing and healthcare is provided to clients with the dual objectives of improving their health status whilst enabling them to enjoy the benefits of remaining at home and thus retaining independence and an active role in their healthcare. Services provided are: assessment, care planning, aged care management, client & carer support, hygeine assistance, medication management, wound care, diabetes education, Lymphoedema Nurse, Breast Care Nursing and stomal therapists.
