The audiology service provides diagnostic assessments primarily for children with hearing health concerns. Assessments of infants and children from 7 months of age are conducted for the following reasons: parental concern, congenital abnormalities of the head and neck area, prematurity, a history of ear infections, ear trauma and those children with speech/language delay or other developmental concerns.

This audiology service provides diagnostic assessments of hearing, hearing aid evaluation and hearing aide provision. Pensioners and Veterans can also obtain free hearing services and subsidised hearing aids are available through the Commonwealth Government accredited hearing clinic. These eligible clients can be referred directly by their GP using a voucher found on the following website http://www.health.gov.vic/hear.
