The Centre for Clinical Interventions (CCI) is a specialist statewide program of the Department of Health that provides treatment for adults suffering from complex anxiety, mood and eating disorders. The clinical service is provided by clinical psychologists and based on current evidence-supported practice. We run a number of treatment programs and courses throughout the year. These include the Eating Disorder Program, Mood Management Course (group treatment for depression and anxiety), Worry and Rumination Course, Social Anxiety Course, and Bipolar Course. In certain circumstances individual treatment may be provided. Please see or website for further information about the services available, including the starting dates and times of our treatment programs. Please note that all treatment program participants require a referral and to have completed a clinical assessment at CCI prior to being accepted for treatment. Please see our Referral Information section for further details about the referral process. CCI has also developed a number of resources for consumers, mental health practitioners and medical practitioners, which are freely available through their website. The resources provided on the website aim to provide general information about various mental health problems, as well as techniques that focus on a cognitive behavioural approach to managing difficulties. The materials relate to common psychosocial problems and are written to be used either as self-help materials or in conjunction with a therapist.
