The suicide prevention team (SPOT) provides after hours and weekend support to people in suicidal crisis in the Maitland city area. The team operates in an ambulatory capacity and will provide a timely and appropriate response in a place where people live their lives and feel comfortable. All ages are within scope or receiving service. Anyone can contact the SPOT team, it does not require a referral. Response is to be immediate. It maintains a focus on suicide prevention.
