The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service provides mental health services to children and young people up to 15 years and their families who are experiencing emotional, behavioural or psychiatric problems. See website links for further information. Referrals are accepted from parents, legal guardians and young people 15 years and over after consultation with the duty worker at each site. Consultation services via the duty worker are available for GPs and private practitioners
