The Koori Mental Health Support Program Worker provides support for families and community members who are caring for persons with mental illness. The role of the support worker is to assist community members with social and emotional well-being matters.
The designated support officer is also responsible for the coordination of Youth Suicide Prevention programs in the Mildura community.
The support officer is available at the Corporation and at the Mental Health Unit at the Mildura Base Hospital. Appointments should be made via the Mildura Aboriginal Corporation Health Service.
