Mareeba Medical Clinic is one of the few social enterprise General Practices in Australia. Mareeba Medical clinic is owned and managed by Mareeba and Communities Family Healthcare Ltd. The practice is operated as a private practice with any returns invested in additional healthcare services for the local communities. The Black Cockatoo Foundation has been set up specifically to support awareness and fundraising and the provision of education and support for Mental Health needs locally.
