The Philip Kennedy Hospice provides palliative care and treatment to people living with a terminal illness, when 'around the clock' professional attention is required to control the pain or other distressing symptoms. A dedicated team of nursing staff, pastoral care group and bereavement support is offered to patients and their families. See website for further information regarding services, support, programs, publication downloads and web links available: EntryProcedures Patients are normally referred the Philip Kennedy Centre Hospice by their General Practitioner, specialist or hospital. During their stay in the hospice they are primarily cared for by their own General Practitioner. The Western Palliative Care Services provides a consultative service and a member of staff visits on a regular basis.
