Cardiac Rehabilitation is an important
part of the recovery phase following a heart (cardiac) event.
Ingham Hospital provides a comprehensive education and
exercise program enabling clients and their families to adapt
and maintain positive lifestyle changes to better their heart
health. Ingham Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Service is delivered by a
multidisciplinary team including; Physiotherapist, Dietician, Pharmacist, Social Worker. We run a six week group course, covering exercise and education on all aspects of cardiac care. A referral is required from your Doctor or health care professional. We endeavour to make your experience fun and life changing and everyone is welcome. We cater for most needs and are very adaptable.
Outpatient
6 week program with 1 group session per week on each Thursday.
Maintenance
Our Cardiac rehabilitation classes are held 4th Thursday of every month, 9.00 until 1200.
